The grand finale of Bigg Boss 18, held on Sunday, crowned Karan Veer Mehra as the winner, with Vivian DSena securing the first runner-up spot. Rajat Dalal, on the other hand, finished as the second runner-up. Fans who were rooting for Rajat to take home the trophy, are disappointed and so is the contestant himself. Despite this, he has not lost hope and believes that the future holds great opportunities and that he is grateful to have been offered the show.
Rajat Dalal, while speaking with Viral Bhayani, said, “I do not regret coming to the show as people wait for such an opportunity to showcase their real personality. I am grateful that I got the opportunity. Not everything in our life goes as we plan. I didn’t win and it’s fine. I am sure the future holds better things for me. I am a believer of destiny.”

Following his eviction, Rajat, a powerlifter by profession, admitted to feeling heavy for not winning the trophy while on stage with Salman Khan. Shedding light on the comment, he continued, “In powerlifting, we get the chance to improve ourselves and compete again but this is not the case with Bigg Boss. I couldn’t win and it would bother me for life. But, this is not really a problem because I know that it was a great opportunity for me.”
When asked whether the audience will see a new version of Rajat Dalal after the show, he responded saying, “I’ll always be the same person who I am today and will act as per the situation and demand of the time. Just like everyone changes with time, I’ll change too but not intentionally.”
The powerlifter remained at the spotlight throughout the season for his active participation. He entered the show with a strong fan base given his association with popular YouTuber Elvish Yadav. Speaking with ANI, he also thanked his fans for their “constant support.” “Thank you (fans) a lot for your support. I will always be grateful to you. I hope I don’t do anything that hurts you or makes you bow your head…” Rajat said.
